CHEF SANI HEBAJ
MEET VILLA AZUR'S PREMIER CHEF
Executive Chef Sani Hebaj is a New York City native from a long line of family chefs. Born in Brooklyn, Hebaj is the son of immigrant parents who also embraced the food of New York.
After studying culinary arts and sciences at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, Chef Hebaj returned to New York to hold various cook positions in several two- and three-star New York Times reviewed restaurants. Working and staging with an array of talented chefs allowed him to progress his career and expand his flavor profile to a variety of different cuisines that make up the world-renowned New York dining scene.
He then opened Dabble at the Conrad New York Midtown and served as executive chef at The Plaza Hotel where he oversaw the iconic Palm Court and Plaza Food Hall. Most recently, he opened The Beast by Todd English at AREA15 in Las Vegas as executive chef, which encompassed seven kitchens and cuisines operating together to feed the many visitors of the venue.
He is inspired to produce memorable moments for each person who dines with him and his diverse knowledge and passion for flavor profiles allows him to create Villa Azur’s signature menu that features tastes of the south of France and the east coast, pairing seasonal ingredients and international flavors with stunning presentation.
